Sant Boi de Llobregat. 04/30/2024. Do you have a short film in mind and don’t know how to develop and create it? During the second and third edition, the Fantboi Lab worked with institutes to teach future filmmakers the possibilities of short films as a means of expression and the tools to give shape and reality to ideas.
This year, due to the success achieved, Fant Boi (Sant Boi de Llobregat Fantastic Film Festival) has decided to create the Fantboi Lab for people over 18 years of age and choose a short film project among those presented, with the idea of helping them in their development throughout its different stages.
The short film that won the first Fantboi Lab prize will be entitled to personalized online tutoring where industry professionals will advise them on the different phases such as writing the script, developing the technical script and preparing for filming, ending with advice on the production and subsequent distribution of the product. The winning short film will be premiered by Fantboi in the 2025 edition.
The call will be open until June 1, 2024 and the name of the winner will be announced during the fourth edition of Fantboi, which will take place between July 11 and 14. Go ahead and turn that idea that’s floating around in your head into a short film!
