This year the Fantboi (Sant Boi de Llobregat Fantastic Film Festival) is consolidated as the largest leisure proposal in Sant Boi between July 11 and 14. All audiences eager to explore the feature film programming in the official section and the retrospectives will have a guaranteed appointment at the Can Castellet cinemas and the Cal Ninyo theatre. Likewise, for those seeking greater experiences, the festival has prepared three sessions of short films that will delight attendees with the different proposals: the marathon of the official section, the animated shorts and the Sang Boi that will delight fans of the blood.
Future creators will also have their space and meeting place during these days thanks to industry talks, the Fantboi Laboratory for short film projects and conferences on film.
Every year more people of all ages come to the festival and for them the Fantboi has prepared all kinds of activities in which each member of the family can participate – or the entire family if they feel like it! – Thanks to the fantastic market, role-playing games created expressly by the Festival, the first Cosplay contest, recording of our own podcast, book presentations and exhibitions where you can discover the work of local artists and even talk with them.
And if during these days you are hungry or thirsty, don’t worry because the festival has its own bar and even the chef Íñigo Sanz, who apart from being a programmer was a cook at the Racó de Can Fabes awarded with three Michelin stars, has designed a special sandwich related to this fourth edition, you can’t leave without trying it.
Once again, Fantboi expands its proposals to reach a larger audience and all ages, while renewing its commitment to Sant Boi to continue growing year after year and involve the city in the event.
